Sarkozy’s bad polls: an explanation edit
The French President is in a delicate position and things don't look promising for his reelection in 2012. Opinion polls suggest a strong degradation of his popularity and a worrying loss of trust among the population. In July his approval rate fell to all-time low. Though some of his difficulties are linked to the crisis and the necessity to take unpopular measures, the main reason may be the way the President exercises his power. (in French)
